KG2 & Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher – International School

About the role

The school is seeking enthusiastic KG2 and Grade 2 homeroom teachers to join its international community on the Cairo‑Alex Desert Road. You will be responsible for delivering a high‑quality, student‑centered curriculum that blends American standards with Montessori principles.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lessons for KG2 and Grade 2 classes in line with the American curriculum.
• Integrate Montessori‑based activities to foster independent learning.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership on curriculum development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• 1–3 years of teaching experience, preferably with an American curriculum.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Preference for candidates residing in Haram, Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October or Hadayek October.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Montessori methodology (preferred).
• Familiarity with American elementary education standards.
