Lifeguard (Egyptian Only) – Pool & Beach Safety

About the role

The Lifeguard ensures the safety and security of guests and staff in the hotel’s swimming areas, both pool and beach. This full‑time, permanent position requires an Egyptian candidate with a valid lifeguard certification and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor designated swimming zones during business hours and enforce safety rules.
• Maintain and set up lifesaving equipment, rescue boats, surfboards, and first‑aid kits.
• Display correct flag colors, post business hours, and provide accurate water‑depth, temperature, and wind information.
• Prevent unauthorized watercraft, windsurfers, and sea‑bikes from entering swimming areas.
• Respond to emergencies, perform rescues, and administer CPR and mouth‑to‑mouth resuscitation.
• Log and supervise windsurfers, sailing boats, and sea‑bike activities, ensuring they stay within designated zones.
• Report hazards, follow hotel safety policies, and wear the proper uniform and name tag at all times.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a lifeguard or in a similar safety role.
• Graduated from a Faculty of Physical Education.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.

Required skills

• Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized association.
• CPR certification.
• First‑aid training, including artificial (mouth‑to‑mouth) resuscitation.
• Ability to operate rescue equipment such as boats and surfboards.
