About the role

Rixos Premium Seagate is seeking a professional Lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests at its pool and private beach. You will be responsible for preventing drowning incidents, maintaining safety standards, and supporting the hotel’s overall health and environmental policies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the hotel pool and beach areas continuously to prevent drowning and other water‑related hazards.
• Maintain and update all safety signage in the assigned zones.
• Hold a valid governmental lifeguard certificate and keep it renewed.
• Provide first‑aid assistance and respond promptly to any emergency situations.
• Prepare and submit hazard reports to management during each shift.
• Assist in other hotel areas as needed and follow all health, safety, and hygiene policies.
• Participate in environmental initiatives, waste reduction, and energy‑saving programs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of lifeguarding experience, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
• Fluent in English and Arabic for effective communication with guests and staff.
• Completed professional trainings and certifications related to lifeguarding and first aid.

Required skills

• Lifeguard certification (government‑issued).
• First‑aid certification.
• Strong knowledge of water‑safety procedures.
• Ability to monitor large pool and beach areas effectively.
