Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and employees at our Alexandria location. Working full‑time on‑site, you will patrol the premises, monitor security systems and respond swiftly to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Conduct daily physical‑hazard inspections and resolve safety issues.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate EMS when needed.
• Assist guests and staff during emergencies, defuse disturbances and escort unwelcome persons.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries and loss‑prevention documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and conduct interviews.
• Report vehicle accidents, thefts and other security events using proper code responses.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided (75 lb with assistance).
• Clear communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to follow company policies, complete safety training and maintain uniform standards.
• Physical fitness to respond quickly to emergencies.
