Material Controller

About the role

The Material Controller ensures the smooth flow of materials across projects, coordinating with procurement, purchasing, technical office, and warehouse teams to meet project schedules. This role is pivotal in guaranteeing that all required items are available on time and in the right quantities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite material movement between projects and internal departments.
• Review BOQ, record material needs, and communicate with technical, procurement, and purchasing teams.
• Track production schedules with suppliers and monitor delivery dates to the site.
• Manage receiving, checking, storage, and preservation of site‑delivered materials.
• Generate reports on material status, availability, and submittal logs.
• Assist with supplier payment follow‑up in collaboration with the accounting department.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and risk assessments.

Required profile

• BSc degree (or equivalent).
• 3‑5 years of experience in material control or a similar field.
• Good command of English.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
