Materials Database Controller

About the role

The Materials Database Controller ensures that all materials issued from the warehouse are accurately recorded and tracked throughout the construction sites, such as substations, transformers, and cabling installations. The role supports project progress by maintaining up‑to‑date material status in the ERP system and delivering regular consumption reports.

Key responsibilities

• Record and monitor all materials issued from the warehouse to each site.
• Track installation and usage of materials across multiple locations.
• Update material status continuously in the ERP or tracking system.
• Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on material consumption and installation.
• Collaborate with site engineers, warehouse teams, and planners to validate material movements.
• Resolve discrepancies between issued and actually used materials.
• Support audits by providing accurate historical material data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in material control, stock management, or database management within construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
