About the role
The British International School in Cairo is looking for an experienced Maths Teacher to join the faculty from August 2026. You will deliver the British and IB mathematics curriculum to a diverse, international student body.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with the British and IB curricula.
- Monitor and assess student progress and attainment.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
Required profile
- A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification.
- Minimum two years’ teaching experience within the British or IB curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of teaching Maths in an international school setting.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

What we offer
- Salary £35,000 – £37,000 GBP per annum (70% paid in British Pounds).
