Mechanical Construction Team Leader – Cairo

About the role

The Mechanical Construction Team Leader will oversee on‑site construction crews, ensuring that all mechanical works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project drawings and schedules. This position acts as the primary link between the workforce and senior management, driving daily performance and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise skilled and unskilled workers to execute mechanical construction activities.
• Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure daily and weekly targets are met.
• Verify that work complies with technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Report progress, delays, or issues to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring proper usage and upkeep.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce compliance with safety procedures.
• Assist in solving on‑site problems and adjusting work plans as needed.
• Coordinate with other trades (civil, MEP, etc.) to avoid conflicts.
• Maintain discipline, a productive work environment, and high workmanship quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction, preferably in mechanical works.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
