Mechanical Engineer – Technical Office & Site

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and implementation of mechanical systems on construction projects. Working under senior supervision, you will bridge the technical office and the site, ensuring that HVAC, plumbing and firefighting installations meet project specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of HVAC, plumbing and firefighting systems.
• Review drawings, BOQs and technical submittals for compliance with project specs.
• Coordinate with site teams to monitor progress and resolve basic technical issues.
• Support quality‑control inspections and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, reports and progress tracking sheets.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and aid cost‑estimation activities.
• Track material deliveries and verify conformity with approved specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution and system integration.
• Identify minor design clashes and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in construction or real‑estate development.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, relevant codes and site execution.
• Solid project coordination abilities.
