Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our food manufacturing team in 6th of October, Giza. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment in a fast‑moving coffee industry environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance plans for production equipment and machinery.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to guarantee equipment readiness and minimise downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance, analyse breakdown causes and implement permanent solutions.
• Participate in selecting, installing and upgrading production machinery and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper maintenance procedures.
• Follow up on maintenance reports and ensure timely execution of required actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in food manufacturing; experience in the coffee industry is a plus.
• Strong background in maintenance and production activities.
• Preferably resident of 6th of October City, Giza or nearby areas.
• Very good command of English.
