Mechanical Site Engineer – Industrial Refrigeration

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Site Engineer to supervise installation and execution of mechanical works on industrial refrigeration and cold storage projects. The role involves coordinating site activities, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications, and supporting the Project Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and mechanical installations.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients.
• Monitor manpower productivity and equipment utilization.
• Review construction drawings and identify technical issues before execution.
• Report daily and weekly progress to the Project Manager.
• Verify quantities executed and assist in preparing progress invoices.
• Manage material deliveries and maintain site inventory.
• Inspect installation quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Resolve technical issues arising during construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in mechanical construction.
• Experience with industrial refrigeration, HVAC, piping, cold rooms or food processing projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Valid driving license.
