Merchandising Specialist

About the role

Kanawat for Trading & Distribution is seeking a Merchandising Specialist to execute merchandising plans across retail stores and points of sale in Egypt. The role focuses on product display, pricing, visibility, and stock availability while supporting new product launches and promotions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor merchandising plans across retail locations.
• Ensure products are displayed, priced, and positioned according to brand guidelines.
• Maintain strong product visibility and optimal shelf presence.
• Monitor stock levels, identify out‑of‑stock or slow‑moving items, and coordinate with sales teams.
• Conduct regular market visits to assess performance and competitor activities.
• Install and maintain promotional materials, displays, and POSM.
• Prepare regular merchandising reports, market feedback, and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, retail, sales, or a similar role.
• Experience in consumer electronics, home appliances, FMCG, or distribution is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to follow brand guidelines.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and results‑oriented.
