Merchant Acquisition Specialist – Women Ecosystem

About the role

The Merchant Acquisition Specialist will drive the growth of HerWallet Cash by building a robust network of women‑focused merchants and service providers. You will identify, approach, onboard, and activate merchants across key categories, ensuring they understand and benefit from the platform’s value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach merchants, shops, service providers, SMEs, and women‑led businesses that align with the HerWallet Cash ecosystem.
• Build merchant pipelines across categories such as beauty & wellness, women healthcare, motherhood & baby, education, women bazaar, lifestyle services, and community services.
• Present HerWallet Cash to merchants, explaining platform benefits and collecting detailed business information.
• Support merchant onboarding from initial contact through activation, including gathering documents, content, and commercial terms.
• Negotiate offers, discounts, bundles, and promotional deals for platform users.
• Coordinate with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Partnerships teams to ensure merchants are launch‑ready.
• Assist launch campaigns by securing exclusive merchant offers.
• Maintain strong relationships with merchants and convey market feedback, insights, and opportunities to internal teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, merchant acquisition, business development, partnerships, retail, e‑commerce, fintech, or marketplace platforms.
• Excellent communication and persuasion abilities.
• Confidence in approaching business owners professionally.
• Strong follow‑up, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to clearly explain value.
• Interest in women‑focused services, lifestyle, commerce, and digital products.
