Microbiology Laboratory Technician

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this position you will support cleanroom operations, ensure product sterility, and contribute to regulatory compliance through precise microbiological testing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct environmental monitoring of classified cleanrooms.
• Prepare and pour microbiological media.
• Perform water sampling and microbiological testing.
• Execute microbial limit and bioburden testing.
• Manage laboratory media and consumables inventory.
• Prepare and sterilize laboratory tools and equipment.
• Document, record, and maintain laboratory logbooks and test results.
• Support compliance with GMP/GLP standards and assist during regulatory audits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure contamination control and aseptic practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory, preferably within a sterile manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and contamination control.
• Good English reading and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff when needed.
