About the role
Misr American College is seeking a dedicated Middle and High School Science Teacher for the 2026‑2027 academic year. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Cairo, Egypt, and involves delivering science instruction to students across middle and high school levels.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons covering physical, life, and earth sciences.
- Assess student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and curiosity.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching science to middle and/or high school students.
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Effective organizational and time‑management skills.
