Mid‑Level Corporate Legal Associate

About the role

Elaqat Law is seeking a mid‑level Corporate Legal Associate to join its Riyadh‑based team on a remote basis. The successful candidate will support a diverse portfolio of corporate and commercial matters across the MENA region, working closely with clients and cross‑border teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements, including joint venture, share purchase, shareholder and financing documents.
• Support company formations, restructurings, corporate approvals, resolutions and board‑related matters.
• Conduct legal research on corporate and regulatory issues and prepare internal memoranda and client‑facing advice.
• Analyse legal risk in proposed transactions and provide practical, business‑oriented recommendations.
• Coordinate with cross‑border teams, liaise with external authorities and counterparties.
• Assist with due diligence on acquisitions and disposals and contribute to precedent development.
• Support client pitches and internal knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction preferred.
• 3–6 years post‑qualification experience in corporate law, preferably with MENA or cross‑border exposure.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
