Mobile Manager – React Native

About the role

Lead React Native squads delivering high‑quality cross‑platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. Own the architecture, performance and security of the solutions while fostering a high‑performing engineering culture.

Key responsibilities

• Define React Native architecture using TypeScript, React Navigation and state‑management libraries such as Redux, Zustand or Recoil.
• Establish native bridges and integrate platform‑specific modules written in Swift or Kotlin.
• Drive app performance (startup time, time‑to‑interactive, memory usage, JS/bridge profiling, Hermes) and ensure reliability and accessibility.
• Set security baselines including secure storage, certificate pinning, anti‑tamper measures and secrets management.
• Build CI/CD pipelines (Metro, Gradle, Xcode, Fastlane, Azure DevOps or Jenkins), implement code‑push/OTA strategies and oversee release governance.
• Lead people and delivery management: capacity planning, hiring, coaching, recognition and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with design, product, QA and cloud teams to deliver features with measurable impact.
• Govern third‑party libraries and SDKs, enforce licensing and update policies.
• Engage with clients through workshops, demos and architecture reviews, translating business goals into engineering roadmaps.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of total experience, with at least 4 years leading React Native teams.
• Hands‑on delivery of large‑scale React Native applications.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, modern React patterns and native module development (Swift/Kotlin).
• Deep knowledge of Metro bundler, Gradle/Xcode projects, multi‑environment configurations and OTA strategies.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Detox/E2E), release engineering and telemetry/observability.
• Experience with MDM distribution and enterprise compliance in large organisations.
• Excellent client communication and consulting skills.
