Oral Biology Teaching Assistant – Dentistry

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to support the Oral Biology component of the Faculty of Dentistry. The role involves assisting in laboratory and clinical sessions, guiding students through practical exercises, and contributing to the smooth operation of the department.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver clear explanations of course material during practical labs, clinical sessions and tutorials.
- Monitor student progress by overseeing portfolios and providing feedback.
- Prepare and set up laboratory and clinical equipment, dental supplies and materials under faculty supervision.
- Perform administrative duties such as quality checks, document filing and maintaining accurate patient records.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery or a Master’s degree in a related discipline.
- Previous experience in teaching or administrative roles is advantageous.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong presentation and communication abilities.
