Payroll Consultant

About the role

The Payroll Consultant will act as the primary partner for a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring seamless payroll and HR operations. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end payroll processing, statutory compliance, and providing expert guidance on local payroll regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated point of contact for assigned corporate clients, managing day‑to‑day payroll and HR needs.
• Execute the monthly payroll cycle, verify data, generate reports, and issue accurate client invoices on schedule.
• Maintain monthly and annual payroll reconciliations for each client.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian Labor Law, Social Insurance regulations, and tax codes; prepare and file statutory returns.
• Coordinate funding approvals and guarantee on‑time salary disbursements.
• Provide expert advice on local payroll regulations, benefits, and labor practices to international clients and internal teams.
• Audit payroll data, troubleshoot system calculations, and resolve complex discrepancies.
• Support regional HR projects, system implementations (UAT testing), and ad‑hoc operational tasks.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing payroll for corporate clients.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law, social insurance, and tax regulations.
• Ability to handle payroll reconciliations, statutory filings, and funding coordination.
• Excellent analytical skills for auditing data and resolving discrepancies.
• Experience collaborating on HR projects and system implementations.
