Personal Assistant to Head of Secondary

About the role

Egypt Education Platform is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support the Head of Secondary at GEMS International School Cairo for the academic year beginning August 2026. The role is central to ensuring smooth daily operations within the secondary department and upholding the school’s commitment to student safeguarding.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Head of Secondary, including scheduling, correspondence and document preparation.
• Assist in coordinating meetings, events and communications across the secondary faculty.
• Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong aspiration to work in a world‑class school and develop a long‑term career in education.
• Commitment to student safeguarding as a core responsibility.
• Ability to pass acceptable police checks in the country of origin and all previous work locations.
• Provision of appropriate references from current and previous employers, confirmed by personal phone calls.
