Planning and Fulfilment Manager

About the role

ABB is seeking a Planning and Fulfilment Manager to lead demand forecasting, resource allocation and schedule management across its operations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure plans are accurate, resources are optimally used and performance targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market trends and historical data to forecast future demand and develop production or service plans.
• Determine and allocate necessary resources (materials, labour, equipment, budget) to meet objectives and timelines.
• Create detailed project, production or operations schedules and monitor adherence.
• Track plan execution against targets, identify variances and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with experience analysing data, forecasts and metrics.
• Deep knowledge of planning processes, demand forecasting, inventory management, production scheduling and supply‑chain operations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across sales, operations and finance.
• Proven problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities under pressure and with incomplete information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with planning tools and ERP systems.
• Experience using data analysis software.
