Planning Engineer – Material Planning

About the role

We are looking for a Planning Engineer specialized in material planning to support production at our facility in 10th of Ramadan City. The role involves developing material requirement plans, monitoring inventory and coordinating with procurement to ensure uninterrupted production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute material requirement plans based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw and packaging materials to avoid shortages or excess.
• Coordinate with Procurement teams to ensure timely purchasing and delivery of materials.
• Analyze material consumption trends and recommend inventory optimization actions.
• Maintain planning parameters, lead times, safety stock levels, and material master data in ERP systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in material planning, supply chain or inventory management, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MRP and inventory management principles.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
