Plant Manager

About the role

Grand Plast is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Plant Manager in Alexandria. You will be responsible for overseeing daily plant operations, ensuring they are safe, efficient and cost‑effective while meeting quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage production schedules, coordinate resources and monitor equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, health‑safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead, develop and motivate plant teams to achieve operational targets.
• Optimize workflows and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives such as Lean and Six Sigma.
• Collaborate with maintenance, supply‑chain and quality departments to support seamless operations and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards and a track record of promoting safe work practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities with attention to detail.
