Plant Repair & Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Plant Repair & Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems and industrial equipment. You will play a key part in reducing downtime through proactive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting and strict adherence to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs and power panels.
• Diagnose faults, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
• Respond swiftly to breakdowns to minimise production loss.
• Maintain and service transformers, switchgear, motor control centres (MCCs), generators and UPS units.
• Ensure proper operation of control systems, sensors and instrumentation.
• Apply safety procedures, conduct risk assessments and follow LOTO protocols.
• Support equipment installations, commissioning activities and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Coordinate with vendors and recommend upgrades to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage spare‑parts inventory.
• Provide technical guidance and training to operational teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, drives and related equipment.
• Proven troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis abilities.
• Familiarity with safety standards and LOTO procedures.
• Experience with installation, commissioning and maintenance of industrial assets.
• Good communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
