Plant Safety Manager – Cairo

About the role

L'Oréal is seeking a Plant Safety Manager for its Cairo manufacturing site. Reporting to the Plant Health, Safety & Environment Director, you will shape and execute the EHS strategy, fostering a safety‑first culture across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Drive behavioral safety programs and promote a zero‑accident workplace.
• Lead hazard assessments (HARA, LOTO) and conduct thorough incident investigations.
• Ensure full compliance with Egyptian EHS legislation and L'Oréal internal standards.
• Champion sustainability initiatives related to waste, water and carbon reduction.
• Perform regular compliance audits and support internal and external inspections.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in safety leadership within an industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• Preferred NEBOSH or OSHA certifications.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Strong influence, leadership and change‑management capabilities.
