Plumbing and Firefighting Engineer

About the role

The Plumbing and Firefighting Engineer will work on‑site in New Cairo, designing, reviewing and implementing plumbing and fire protection systems for residential, commercial and industrial projects. The role ensures all solutions meet local building codes and safety standards while delivering reliable performance for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings, calculations and specifications for plumbing and firefighting networks.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor installation, testing and commissioning of pipes, pumps, sprinklers, valves and related equipment.
• Diagnose system issues, plan maintenance activities and execute repairs.
• Respond to urgent technical problems and provide on‑site troubleshooting.
• Document work performed, produce inspection reports and support final hand‑over.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with firefighting system standards (e.g., NFPA) and local building codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design and drafting software.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent customer service skills for clear communication with clients.
