About the role
This posting announces open recruitment for Police Officer and Auxiliary Officer positions, accepting applications year‑round with specific deadlines in March and September 2026. Candidates will be evaluated through testing dates scheduled on the third Saturdays of March and September.
Key responsibilities
Required profile
- Minimum age of 21 years
- High school diploma or GED
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency

- Good moral character as determined by NCIC criminal history, Tennessee Department of Safety records, and other investigative means
- No felony convictions or misdemeanors involving moral turpitude, drunkenness, or domestic violence
