Primary Cover Teacher (AY2026-2027)

About the role
This role ensures continuity of learning by covering primary classes during teacher absences for the academic year 2026-2027. The cover teacher follows pre‑prepared lesson plans, maintains classroom standards, and supports students to stay on track with the curriculum.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and manage assigned classes during teacher absence.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment.
- Ensure students follow school rules and behavioural policies.
- Deliver pre‑prepared lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or Head of Department.
- Support students in completing assigned classwork.
- Adapt teaching approach according to students' level when needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in education or a relevant subject area.
- Excellent English.
- Previous teaching or classroom experience in EYFS and/or Primary education preferred.
- LSAs/Assistants with strong classroom management skills may also be considered.
