About the role

Egypt Education Platform is recruiting a Primary / Homeroom Teacher for GEMS The British School Al Rehab in Rehab City, New Cairo, with immediate hiring. The workplace is on site and the department is the school itself. The school aims to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for its students.

Key responsibilities

• Implement a well-structured curriculum that follows international standards and promotes active learning.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of primary students.
• Assess and track student progress, giving feedback that informs instruction and supports individual learning plans.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student interaction and participation.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and their involvement in education.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve the school environment.
• Take part in school events and extracurricular activities that enrich student experiences and build community.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous primary teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the varied needs of students.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to continuous professional development.
