Procurement Specialist

About the role

onebank is launching Egypt's first digital native bank and seeks a Procurement Specialist to support its sourcing and supplier management functions. You will ensure procurement standards are applied, supplier risks are mitigated, and internal stakeholders receive timely, compliant purchasing support.

Key responsibilities

• Review and consolidate purchase requests from multiple business units.
• Initiate and manage RFI, RFQ and RFP processes, including vendor pre‑qualification and NDA handling.
• Organise bid opening sessions with cross‑functional committees (Sourcing, Finance, Business, Legal).
• Analyse quotations, evaluate vendors on cost, warranties, lead times and compliance with procurement policy.
• Negotiate terms, conditions and service level agreements with suppliers.
• Conduct sanction screening, compliance due diligence and fraud checks before contract award.
• Validate purchase requisitions against financial limits and issue purchase orders to approved vendors.
• Maintain contract and license records to support internal audits and prevent breaches.
• Prepare reports and provide data to the Head of Sourcing as required.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or vendor management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong time‑management, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
