About the role
The German University in Cairo (GUC) is seeking qualified academics to join its Faculty of Management Technology as Professor, Associate Professor, or Lecturer in Economics. The position involves teaching both graduate and undergraduate programmes and contributing to the university's research agenda.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality lectures and seminars for undergraduate and graduate economics courses.
- Design and update course curricula in line with academic standards.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct original research in economics and publish findings in reputable journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and academic events.
Required profile
- Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Economics.
- Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research.
- Ability to teach graduate‑level courses and supervise research.
- Demonstrated experience in academic instruction and scholarly activity.
