Program / Portfolio Manager

About the role

BlackStone eIT is hiring a Program / Portfolio Manager based in Nasr City, working on site. The role leads and manages a team of Project Managers while delivering assigned projects end-to-end, from initiation and planning through execution, deployment and closure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of Project Managers, ensuring accountability and consistent delivery practices.
• Directly manage and deliver assigned projects end-to-end.
• Oversee portfolio planning, resource allocation, prioritization and capacity management.
• Monitor project performance, risks, dependencies, budgets and delivery KPIs.
• Manage escalations and drive resolution of critical delivery issues.
• Ensure consistent project governance, reporting and compliance with delivery methodologies.
• Coordinate with senior management, clients and internal departments to align priorities and expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement across project management practices and delivery performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple projects and leading Project Managers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex projects independently.
• Strong expertise in project governance, portfolio management, risk management and resource planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and drive results across multiple teams.
