Project Engineer – Maintenance & CAPEX Specialist

About the role

The Project Engineer will support plant operations in Bani Suef by driving root‑cause analysis, preventive maintenance, and capital‑expenditure planning. You will work closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure equipment reliability, cost optimisation, and energy efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in recurring RCA activities to resolve operational breakdowns.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs in SAP.
• Establish local engineering standards aligned with global guidelines.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and maintain CAPEX records and forecasts (3‑5 years).
• Identify and execute process‑improvement and energy‑reduction initiatives.
• Build and manage relationships with local vendors and oversee the ordering cycle for imported spares.
• Collaborate on cost‑optimization projects and ensure adherence to CAPEX policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
• Residency in Bani Suef or willingness to relocate.
• Proficiency in English.
