Project Manager – Jira Development Teams (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to oversee day‑to‑day tracking of development teams using Jira. You will act as the single point of contact for sprint management, ensuring delivery stays on schedule for a UK‑based technology client.

Key responsibilities

• Own sprint tracking and maintain up‑to‑date Jira boards for all developers and engineers.
• Manage backlogs, ticket statuses, and ensure Jira remains the single source of truth.
• Identify and flag blockers, overdue tickets, and workload imbalances promptly.
• Run daily stand‑ups and check‑ins solo to keep visibility on task ownership and timelines.
• Report progress and delivery status regularly to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Jira, including board setup, sprint grooming, and reporting.
• Proven project‑management experience within software or development teams.
• Comfortable running sprint tracking and daily stand‑ups independently across multiple workstreams.
• Experience overseeing several developers or engineers simultaneously.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing technical delivery.
