Project Manager – Rail Signaling & Construction

About the role

The Project Manager assists the Project Director in leading internal and external teams to deliver railway signalling and construction projects. The role ensures technical, financial and customer‑satisfaction goals are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project baselines for requirements, execution structure, budgets, schedules and contractual data.
• Identify stakeholders, set up project teams, and launch project activities, including make‑or‑buy decisions and supplier negotiations.
• Monitor and control project progress, risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with stakeholder commitments.
• Coordinate with internal units (sales, finance, contract management) and external partners such as Systra, Colas and Orascom.
• Manage project quality, legal and contractual aspects, and handle disputes when they arise.
• Report progress to senior management and drive customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in electrical, telecom or signalling engineering, civil engineering, or railway construction.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities in an international, multidisciplinary environment.
• Proven client and stakeholder management experience.
• Business‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering results.
