Publishing Operations & Launch Assistant (Remote, Egypt)

About the role

Meridian Publishers is seeking a detail‑oriented Publishing Operations & Launch Assistant to support its fast‑growing independent press. Working remotely from Egypt, you will help keep the production pipeline moving for 6–10 new titles each month and drive successful book launches.

Key responsibilities

• Upload interiors, covers, metadata and log ISBNs on Amazon KDP and IngramSpark.
• Maintain the release calendar, identify bottlenecks and ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinate ARC distribution through platforms such as BookSirens, Booksprout and StoryOrigin, manage reviewer outreach and collect reader reviews.
• Monitor Amazon Ads performance, generate basic reports and suggest optimisations.
• Conduct final pre‑publish quality checks to ensure compliance with the house style.

Required profile

• Based in Egypt and able to work remotely.
• Excellent written English.
• Highly organised, reliable and comfortable owning a process from start to finish.
• Experience with Amazon KDP, IngramSpark or other self‑publishing workflows is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with book marketing or ARC platforms is a bonus.
