About the role
GEMS International School Cairo is looking for an experienced and passionate PYP Arabic teacher to cover maternity leave for the next academic year (2026-27). The position is on site and is advertised through the Egypt Education Platform.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Current license or certification in the home country, with at least 3 years of full-time teaching experience.
- Teaching certificate.
- Passion for delivering a dynamic and creative curriculum to motivated students in an outstanding school environment.
Preferred qualifications
- PYP training and PYP experience preferred.
- Experience teaching TOK desired.
- Aspiration to work in a world-class school with career prospects.
All appointments are conditional on acceptable police checks (or equivalent) from the country of origin and from every country where the candidate has worked, and on appropriate references from current and former employers confirmed by personal calls.
