Q.S Consultant

About the role

MAC Consultants is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Q.S) Consultant to join its technical office in New Cairo. The role focuses on cost estimation, feasibility analysis, and preparation of tender documentation for a variety of engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary cost estimates based on concept or schematic designs.
• Conduct cost planning and feasibility studies to advise clients on budget implications.
• Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and associated tender documents in line with project drawings and specifications.
• Provide tendering and procurement support, including preparation of general and special conditions of contract, tender conditions, and technical specifications.
• Perform value engineering by suggesting cost‑saving alternatives in design, materials, or construction methods without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from AUC, BUE, GUC, Ain Shams University or Cairo University.
• Willingness to work from the office near Mivida Business Park, New Cairo.
• No prior site experience required; the position is office‑based.
