About the role
Jidaar Construction & Development is seeking a motivated QS Engineer to join its growing construction team. The role involves supporting project teams by managing cost variations, reviewing contractor invoices, and ensuring that all work complies with project specifications and contractual obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to assess and manage variations.
- Monitor and control contractors' invoices.
- Perform quantity surveying duties, including measurement and valuation of work completed.
- Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Analyze project specifications and requirements.
- Review subcontractor quantity surveys and coordinate payment invoice issuance with relevant departments.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
