QS & Interim Payments Engineer

About the role

The QS & Interim Payments Engineer will work closely with the SAP team to design and maintain efficient contract management processes within the SAP ERP environment. The role bridges construction engineering knowledge with ERP data handling to ensure accurate contract administration and payment tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the SAP team to develop and implement contract management workflows in SAP ERP.
• Review and classify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) across Civil, Architectural, and MEP disciplines.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to prepare and review progress sheets during contract execution.
• Extract key information from contracts, producing abstracts, summaries, and detailed reports.
• Maintain up‑to‑date contract documentation, including amendments, change orders, and terminations, within SAP.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and monitor active contract performance.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on contractual matters to mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Strong familiarity with BOQ structures for Civil, MEP, and Finishing works.
• Deep knowledge of contract abstracts and the “Abstract of Bids” process.
• Analytical ability to translate site language into ERP‑compatible data.
