Quality Officer – Feed/Food Safety & Quality

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Officer to join our Quality department. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will support the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system for feed and food products, ensuring compliance with legislation, certifications and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the quality management system, procedures and instructions in line with Nutrace standards and relevant regulations.
• Prepare and conduct yearly management reviews and monitor the quality plan, recommending corrective actions when needed.
• Deliver training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and other food safety programs.
• Perform ingredient and supplier assessments, internal and external audits, and manage corrective actions.
• Investigate customer complaints, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Define and execute monitoring plans for incoming and manufactured goods, support in‑process controls and analyse QC data to identify trends.
• Assist with sampling plans, analytical methods, and ensure timely delivery of analytical services.
• Participate in HACCP teams, regulatory affairs activities and act as a delegate for the Quality Manager when required.

Required profile

• Strong background in quality management and feed/food safety.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously or under close supervision.
