Regulatory Compliance Manager - Digital Bank

About the role

A leading digital bank is recruiting a Regulatory Compliance Manager through Envision Employment Solutions. There is no compliance framework to inherit: the candidate will build it from the ground up while the bank is still being set up. Every new product, marketing campaign and vendor contract passes through the manager before going live.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and embed the compliance framework for the digital bank
• Take part in system, policy and process development
• Monitor Central Bank of Egypt and other regulators' requirements and turn them into practical, scalable policies
• Review products, customer journeys and processes to ensure compliance-by-design
• Assist with regulatory reporting, inspections and audits
• Work with product, technology, risk and operations teams so innovation happens safely
• Help build a strong compliance culture
• Review bank-wide policies and procedures against CBE instructions, and guide businesses in resolving compliance gaps and documentary evidence
• Review contracts and vendor agreements for regulatory alignment
• Clear marketing campaigns, promotional offers, advertising and social media content before publication
• Monitor regulatory breaches and internal policy violations and act on them

Required profile

• 5+ years of compliance experience in banking, fintech or financial services
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian banking regulations and AML/CFT
• Experience with digital products or channels and in an international environment is a big plus
• Ability to turn a dense regulatory circular into a usable policy and to challenge decisions under pressure
