Remote Golang Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join a global leader in software development on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to high‑performance backend services built on a micro‑services architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services using Go (Golang) for distributed systems.
• Optimize existing services for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Debug and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on Go development experience.
• Proven experience with micro‑services architecture and RESTful API design.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration tools.
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization.
