Remote Software Engineer - C#

About the role

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to help build and evaluate large‑language‑model (LLM) datasets focused on realistic software engineering problems. The role is fully remote and combines hands‑on development with AI research, allowing you to influence how LLMs interact with real code.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and triage GitHub issues across trending open‑source libraries.
• Set up and configure code repositories, including Dockerization and environment provisioning.
• Evaluate unit‑test coverage and overall code quality.
• Modify and run codebases locally to assess LLM performance in bug‑fixing scenarios.
• Collaborate with researchers to select challenging repositories and issues for LLM evaluation.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers on project tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and familiarity with high‑quality public GitHub repositories.
• Solid experience with Git, Docker, and basic software pipeline setup.
• Ability to understand, navigate, and test complex codebases locally.
• Experience contributing to or evaluating open‑source projects is a plus.
