Resident Engineer - External

About the role

The Resident Engineer serves as the primary liaison between customers and project stakeholders on‑site, overseeing both planned and unplanned service events for gas turbines, generators, or steam turbines.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate planned service events and respond to unplanned events on‑site.
• Manage logistics for field service personnel, including arrivals, departures, and lodging.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with Siemens Energy standards.
• Handle project‑related consumables, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
• Ensure all activities align with Siemens Energy's EHS and Quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0‑2 years of experience in power generation or related field.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in English and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proactive problem‑solving and project‑management approach.
