Safety Officer / Safety Supervisor (Daily Wage)

About the role
We are seeking a Safety Officer / Safety Supervisor to join our team during a critical turnaround (shutdown) period. The role is initially on a daily‑wage basis with the possibility of a permanent position after the project is completed.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce occupational health and safety standards on construction and mechanical maintenance sites.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and safety audits during the turnaround.
- Identify hazards, report incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Coordinate emergency response and fire‑fighting procedures.
- Provide safety briefings and training to site personnel.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS).
- Valid OSHA certification.
- Valid Fire Fighting certification.
Required skills
- OSHA standards knowledge.
- Fire fighting procedures.
