Sales & Marketing Specialist – French Speaking Markets (Electrical Power Solutions)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Specialist to expand our business across French‑speaking African markets, focusing on grid integration and high‑voltage substation solutions. The role blends direct sales, strategic marketing, and product performance management while acting as a subject‑matter expert.

Key responsibilities

• Drive face‑to‑face and remote sales activities with new and existing customers in Francophone regions.
• Identify customer needs and propose suitable electrical power products, services, and solutions.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed targets.
• Negotiate commercial terms, close complex deals, and build long‑term relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners.
• Plan, develop, and execute market‑specific marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Support product positioning, go‑to‑market initiatives, and brand development in French‑speaking markets.
• Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
• Provide high‑quality customer support on product information, pricing, delivery, billing, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, operations, finance, and logistics.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of proven sales experience in electrical power, energy, or related technical sectors.
• Demonstrated success selling in French‑speaking countries, preferably Africa.
• Native or fluent French (spoken and written); English proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of technical electrical or power‑based products and solutions.
