About the role
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP/Developer Consultant to act as the technical expert for our SAP landscape. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust ABAP programs, ensuring high‑quality delivery and timely resolution of application issues.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse functional requirements and create detailed technical specifications.
- Design, code, test, and debug ABAP programs and integration interfaces across SAP modules and external systems.
- Develop unit tests, system tests, and integration acceptance tests for complex functionalities.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to junior developers.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and external partners to define system requirements and timelines.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure adherence to IT standards and methodologies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve business problems through technology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self‑motivated learner capable of quickly mastering new technologies.
