About the role
CACTUS is seeking a remote Scientific Editor specialized in Emergency Medicine and Forensic Medicine. You will work with researchers worldwide to ensure their manuscripts are polished, clear, and ready for submission to high‑impact journals.
Key responsibilities
- Edit manuscripts to produce standard scientific English, eliminating unclear or unidiomatic sentences.
- Follow job‑specific guidelines and format papers according to the target journal’s requirements.
- Verify that all subject‑specific conventions and terminology are correctly applied.
Required profile
- PhD, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant medical or scientific discipline.
- Excellent command of English with strong attention to detail.
- Prior experience in scientific or medical editing is advantageous.
