Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer will safeguard guests, associates and property at Portaluna, the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. This role combines active monitoring, patrols and guest interaction to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate risks.
• Control entry and exit points, verify credentials and restrict access to authorized areas.
• Respond swiftly to security breaches, emergencies, fire alarms, medical incidents and coordinate with emergency services.
• Provide first aid when needed and document all security‑related incidents accurately.
• Maintain a visible, courteous presence, assist guests with inquiries and support other departments to ensure overall safety.
• Ensure compliance with hotel security protocols, safety standards and confidentiality requirements.
• Stay current with fire safety, emergency response and hotel‑specific security training.
